Students appreciate hands on learning. It not only breaks up the lecture it also helps focus on what they have learned and apply it to reassure that they know it.

Instructors need to know the learning styles of their students so they can know how to divide up the course content into the four learning styles. This way there is a balance of content in each style and the students can feel comfortable working in their preferred learning area.
