The information on Rapport
I would of liked to have covered more information on what Rapport means.
I think what is meant by rapport is the relationship you have with your students. I feel that the better relationship (rapport) you have, the more students will take the information you are giving them seriously. They may also participate more actively when you engage them in discussion. I usually build rapport by talking with students before and after class, and making sure I respond to concerns as they come up. I think if students know you care, it does a lot to establish rapport.
I agree, rapport is fundamental in learning.
