Tree Diagram?

Hi Everyone,
Has anyone used the "Tree Diagram" method and how was it used and in what type of class was it used?

I see where this can be used in online delivery using a presentation software that I saw only used in an online faculty meeting called Prezi.

Hi Virginia,
The tree diagram is based upon the two-three-four main points of what you want to cover that day. Those are listed as being the trunk of the tree. The branches are the supporting points, examples and activities that you are going to cover/use to make the key points. Once those are accomplished then you go back to the trunk for another point. This method keeps you from getting distracted and off topic on the course because you know what you need to cover for the day and how to support those points.
I would be glad to work with you on a tree diagram if I knew what your field is and what course you are teaching in the sequence.
Gary

I have never used the tree diagram, it would be interesting to see an actual diagram and how it is used.

Can you share?

it has worked surprisingly well. my students really can grasp the content better and shows an great improvement on quizes.
