Wow. this was a great one. Most teachers teach the way they learn. This does not always work out so good, because some students get left behind.
Learning to teach to all four styles listed helped me focus on how to better convey the information.

I totally agree that most teachers teach the way they learned. Understanding that students are who are not learning or picking up the material might be a reflection of how I'm teaching because not everyone learns the same way. Changing up your stlyle of teaching could have a great impact and you can reach more students.
I think catering to the students individual learning styles really does make a difference in the way they retain and process the information. Trying to incorporate the different learning styles into your course material shows your commitment to your students and your growth as an instructor.
