Lesson Plans
A well thought out lesson plan, that is layed out before class, is extrememly helpful in keeping the class moving at a good pace. It also helps make sure any important information is not missed that day.
Hi Melissa,
I agree with you. By having a well thought out lesson plan, this keeps everything running smoothly and you know how much time you have to spend on each topic. Also, if you get off topic, this allows you to bring focus back without missing any important information.
Lesson plans are great for not only keeping the class moving at a good pace but being sure that relevant information is covered completely so students don't miss important features of the material.
I agree that a lesson plan help you and it’s a great guidance for teaching your class. It helps me stay focus on the chapters I need to be on and when I need to move on to the next one.
I agree about the lesson plans, helps to stay on track with the material being presented.
I agree. Having prepared a well-written Lesson Plan will help the instructor deliver the subject in an organized manner.
Hi Gitthaline,
Good to hear. I wish you much teaching success as you develop your lesson plans and meet the learning needs of your students.

Hi Melissa,
Right you are. This approach gives accountability to what you are doing and how you will deliver content to the class.

Lesson plans can either make or break a lecture. Too much information can overwhelm students and too little information can leave them bored. Finding the right balance is key to keeping attention, reviewing the plan aids in refreshing the memory for lecture as well.
After this module I really see the usefulness of a good lesson plan!
