Using 3x5 cards
I like the idea of using 3x5 cards. I can insert cards that remind me that if it has been more than 10 minutes to change it up or take a break.
Me, too. I like the idea of using a different color for illustrations and examples. I loved these as a student, too.
I also liked the idea of using an entire sheet of paper with notes on one side and the examples and illustrations on the other and using colored pens.
I didn't really get the tree example, where it's trunk to branch, back to trunk. I prefer my trees to have leaves.
Michelle,
I do to. Sometimes I think I should buy stock in an index card company.

Love the use of index cards. The student can study them in various ways.
Charles,
I think this will be a valuable tool in your instructional delivery plan. This way you will be able to keep the pace of the class flowing while keeping the students engaged.

A great method to study, a student can quiz himself. A quick and easy way to remember important terminologies and definitions especially.
