I agree that we, as instructors, need to "mix it up" to keep students engaged though I'm running out of ideas. Are there any suggested resources to tap into?

There are many different websites dedicated to instructional planning ideas and activities for the elementary and secondary level. I go to these websites and look at the ideas that are being presented. When I find some I can use I translate them into adult format and bring them to my students. What you will find is that what appear to be elementary activities work just as well with adults once you put your content into the activity.
