Lamp Lighter
What if i choose not to have a lamp lighter in my class? Is it against policy?

Great idea for the school to recognize those students that meet or exceed the standards of the school while serving as leaders. This honor gives others something to aspire to.

This is relating to a specific career college. This particular college, that I also teach for, has a group of students called lamp lighters. They have to be in good academic standing and will be recommended by their instructor as candidates. They get special colored scrubs and are role model students.
i don't know either what this is, insight would be great!!
