Effective Lecturing
This section was insightful and informative. The different lecture types will help me prepare for successful classroom sessions. Also, knowing that we only have an attention span of 15 – 18 minutes, this will prevent future brain overloads during lectures. Finally, I love the idea of note cards, this concept will help me stay on track with making the key points during class.
This is really helpful realizing that attention span is a factor that I have to reconsider during my lecture based course format. I will definitely consider the mini lecture in further course planning.

I know you are going to like the results you get with mini-lectures as they let the students reset their brains while doing an activity or having a discussion after hearing a mini-lecture.
