Mix and match

Would it be a good asumption to say that the way to be the most thurow and to get across to everyone would be to incorperate all these learning styles ( audio, visual, written and hands on) into your class or would it be better to mix and match trough the class? What are your thoughts?

Hi Jeremiah - Thanks for your post to the forum! I agree completely, the more we try utilize varying delivery styles, the more learning styles we will reach. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career! Susan

Jason I find that by providing instruction in as many learning styles as possible gives you the best chance at being able to identify each students individual learning profile.

Hi Terry - Best wishes as you continue your teaching career! Being a teacher is an ever evolving occupation; it's eciting to keep growing and improving.

Teaching in a technical/trade school we tend to focus on visual and hands on. Bringing to light these other styles, and incorporating them into daily activities is requiring a focused effort. I'm hopeful of reaching more of the students, by making subtle changes.

Hi Jason - It really is tough to use every style in every class. Just try to incorporate them as much as posible and where you have the best fit.
