Can students with different learning styles compliment each other in a group?

I think this is the beauty of a group assignment. What is a disadvantage to one, can be an advantage to another. In the ideal situation, all styles work together to create the most sucessful outcome.
I think its important to have a variety because students with different learning styles can expose each other to their own respective learning styles, and perhaps spark an interest an someone who never may have looked at something a particular way, or thought of something a particular way, etc.
