Learning styles
I think it is important to use a combination of learning styles this hopefully will help everyone.
I fully agree with that, the combination of styles can be very benificial to students.
I use combinations in every lesson I teach.Our students vary in age and learning ability so much, that it's makes it diffuicult, but not impossible to cover all of them.
I think this is important too. In my instruction, there are various ages, experiences, learning levels, change of career students, etc. to deal with. You need to try to find several styles that will "speak" to all of the students or as many as you can reach.
I also think its important to use all learning styles when you teach your students. In my classes the ages range from 17 to 57, making it more important than ever to do all 4 styles. The younger students like the power point and video presentations, and the older students like hand on and study groups. So in order to touch all my students I use all 4.
Yes, I agree - Using different styles helps the instructor reach everyone in class - And, it can reinforce material for everyone when presented in different manners.
Some students have problems with learning one way when other ways might be better for that student.
I agree and yes it should help everyone.
