learning styles
I find that my learning style is based a lot of the times on the rapport of the student.
I think understanding the rapport of the student or where the student is coming from can build success for both the student and the instructor.
I am definatly a hands on/visual learner and most of my students are also (I teach massage therapy and it seems to be a common thing amoung us) So it's pretty easy to relate to them and deliver the information.
I have concluded the same as I have learned more about the different styles of learning. The way I learn is so ritualistic, that I have not put much thought into it until now, but realize that I almost split four ways, with my greatest preference being written word, and my least being kinesthetic.
I agree with you that it DOES, in fact, help us relate to, and more easily deliver information in a variety of styles. For the most part, because I learn using such a combination of styles, I naturally present things the same way.
I find that my learning style is alot like most of my students. I am however a learner of all styles, mostly hands on, but overall very equal in all four types. I can relate well with all students since I am this type of learner.
