This can be tricky, but I've encouraged my students who are very kinesthetic to use flash cards. It seems like flash cards would be more akin to visual or written word, but because it is something they can touch and manipulate, it seems to stick.

It also depends on the subject matter, as well.

I guess it would depend on what they were learning. This would be rather hard to do by itself as they would also have to be good at another style of learning as well such as auditory.
