Learning Styles
Hello Everyone,
After reviewing the material I was able to further understand the importance of instructing students of various learning styles. A visual learner would rather read lessons, view pictures, graphs, or other visual props to support their learning. An auditory learner would rather listen to lessons or tape lessons to gather an understanding of what is being presented. A kinesthetic learner is a person that would rather have a hands-on approach to learning by actively taking notes, working on a project, or actively highlighting material to be active while reading the material as they are learning. Everyone has a specific learning style; understanding your learning style can help you be productive with in your online studies.
Hi Dana :
I agree with summaries on the different styles-could you just imagine if:On one of your prepared lessons you gave it was all towards the visual learner, only to find out that the majority of the class was of the auditory type!WOW! Hope that never happens!I don't even want to think about that occurring.
Hi Dana - Thanks for your post to the forum and an excellent summary of the learning styles! Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan
