Every student is a unique learner.
I know that when I teach a class where the content is especially challenging to grasp I have to alter my delivery to reach each learning style.
Hi Ronda, Thanks for your post to the forum. It is great that you do your best to accomodate the learning styles of your students. I have found that it is important for the student to discover and acknowledge their own learning style. I do my best to incorporate as many different learning methods as I can within the course content,but in the end the students must also make some adjustments to the different instructors they will encounter. It gives the student ownership and flexibility in their learning.
Every student learns differently and that by focusing on the particular senses each is most strong in, you can expedite the learning process in any individual student.

I believe that every student is indeed unique from their learning styles to the ethnic and religious backgrounds all these play a part in the students ability to learn and suceed. It is our responcibility as instructors to identify these charatoristics and provide an environment where the student is most confortable and will be to achive their respective goals
