Learning styles
I think it is vital to identify each students learning style and be able to provide a classroom enviornment that is conducive to those styles, thereby promoting learning, self esteem and encouragement to achieve their goals.
Hi Kristi, Thanks for your post to the forum. I'm glad that you got some good info from the Module! I agree that we need to encourage our students to adapt to other styles of learning as well. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan

I have been aware of the 4 different learning styles for some time now and try to teach accordingly to cover all. I lecture, demonstrate, give hand-outs, show videos and many other strategies. What I found interesting in this module were the certain cues to look for in students. VERY helpful!
I feel it's equally important for students to "work through" learning styles other than their dominant style. Not all situations in a work environment will be limited to just one style.
I strongly agree, identify each students learning style make us instructors be more efficient. It also saves unwanted waste time.
