Determine the strengths of students
Adapting to all students to convey the common goal of you as a instuctor and students is important. Teaching is a like working a rubic cube turning information in every way possible for student to grasp at what is being taught in class.

Our class size is relatively small in culinary, so one of the things I usually do is have students fill out a bio. they list things they have eaten, cultural heritage, etc. I am now thinking of adding a question, "choose which method you learn the best", and list a situational example of each of the learning styles. This may be helpful when tutoring individuals on a one on one basis.
Hi Cory, Very creative! I love to cook so will sometimes bring in different Nationality dishes in my Destinations course. Students really appreciate the extra efforts we make! Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career.

I agree one thing I like to do not only change up the delivery method but change up the atmosphere. If the students come in one day and you have something new going for example for you are learning about a different country coming in wearing that country's traditional clothing you bring the lesson to reality.
