Team Based Learning for all learning stlyles
I am a Head & Neck Anatomy Instructor and have recently incorporated Team Based Learning into the course. I typically Give a brief PPT on the topic, have the students physically identify landmarks on their skulls, read the chapter being discussed and answer the review questions. They will take their quiz in their assigned teams as well with me encouraging discussions. Does this lesson cover all types of learning styles or am I leaving some out? 8-)
Hi Richard, Thanks for your post to the forum. I am curious - do you find that students tend to take on roles that fit with their learning styles? Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career.

I find success in production groups (I teach Video production and post production) that have a variety of roles that can speak to diferent learning types.
Students can determine in the groups what roles they will take and also can evaluate eachother as to the success in executing their individual roles.
I also break my classes into teams this way they can comunicate among thier groups in lab and when they do assignments and reviews.
Hi Cherie, Thanks for your post to the forum. From what you describe, you are reaching all the learning styles. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career.
