online vs human contact
It would be interesting to compare outcomes between online instruction vs having an instructor
actually teaching.
Hi Hans, Thanks for your post to the forum. I now teach almost totally online and agree that it is a challenge to keep in contact with my students. To that end, I constantly monitor progress and reach out via phone and email to students who appear to be struggling. This does mean that I am available evenings and week-ends if necessary. As an instructor, I still feel that having human contact and giving instruction is better than an on line instruction. There will always be unanswered questions without having another person explain a subject with great detail.
