learning styles

Does it take longer to present or teach a subject matter a student with a kinesthetic learning style versus an auditory style? IE-less efficient when trying to present a lot of material in the time you have.
How do you address this issue?

I thought it was interesting that someone could raise their scores 10-15% by changing learning styles. I enjoyed the samples of kinesthetic learning styles and plan to incorporate them into my daily planning/

Hi Darla, That's an interesting question! I really think it depends on the material you are teaching. It can often be more difficult to get a process across until you give students the opportunity to "see and touch". Yes, it may take a bit longer to have all your students do that but it is usually worth the extra time! Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career.
