Learning styles

I tend to be a very audio visual learner, so that is how I usually direct my lectures. It is important to remember though that many students are very hands on and need to be able to perform a task in order to learn a topic.

I use a couple of methods myself. Audio with a mix of hands on. I find my students have a tendency to like a mixed delivery because they each learn differently but one thing they all like is a change of pace or scenery every 15 to 20 min. This tends to keep them focused on learning.
