I like to get the students involved

I like to come up with different Q's for the students and sometimes reword them to see if they catch on.

I've done something like this, it is very useful.

I like the idea of re-wording a question, which can then inspire more student involement.I feel the more ways an instructor can encourage the entire class to participate, and connnect with each other ,the more successful they will all be.

Have you tried asking the students to create and ask each other questions? This can be particularly effective in review preparation for exams.

I also utilize this method and I sometimes recieve different information when I reword the same question. It helps to draw out some students.

So do I. If the students don't seem to be engaged fully, rewording a question can catch them off guard in a good way. When the rest of the class catches on you (and the class) can have fun with it. Students pay attention to every word so they don't get their foot in the same trap. Isn't that a great way to learn?
