QUESTIONING STUDENTS
WHEN YOU QUESTION A STUDENT ABOUT THE SUBJECT, MAKE SURE THAT IT IS CLEAR.
A question that the instructor may think is clear, may not be clear to the student. So sometimes rephrasing the question might help.
Hi Terrie-When students apply what they have learned they are more likely to retain that knowledge and know how to apply it in their future careers! Great work -thanks for your post! Susan
I always question my students about problem solving with customers. They really have to think to come up with a solution to the problem. This allow them to actually put into practice the lecture content.
It also may need to be repeated throught lecture in order for the to actually retain important information.
