All instructors should make learning fun, when games are used student learning is increased. Some games that I use in the classroom Pictionary, Hangmen, and Jeopardy. When a classroom and environment is fun learning the students are more willing to participate and they are also learning.

Hi Deidra - Thanks for your post to the forum. I was initially surprised by how much even my adult students liked games in class! Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career.

Hi Jennifer -Thanks for your post to the forum. Games provide all sorts of visual, auditory and kinesthetic activities for our students. It may take a bit of extra work on our part, but it is well worth the effort! Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan

I also enjoy games that are essentially questions. I have played games such as jeopardy, catch phrase with glossary words and family fued. The students love it and actually get into answering the questions.
