teaching techniques is something that has to be unique to every individual in front of students, because what may be a good teaching style for one individual may not have that same delivery for the next person.
This is especially true for younger students; they are constantly knowing "what do I get out of this".
I add new excitement to my class room by using the internet to show videos related to their subject matter. Students have first hand look inside of their new chosen field.

I found that out the hard way. Tried teaching all students with the same delivery. Need to find out how the students learn, once you know the WIFM (What's In It For Me) you now have their attention.
