Students that consistently answer incorrectly.
What are some techniques to use with students that consistently answers open and closed questions incorrectly? The student tries very hard but usually is in left field with some of the answers. What do you suggest?
There may be a learning difficulty.
Hi Jason - From your description, I would be a bit concerned that the student might have some sort of learning disability. How are the student's general skills like reading and writing?
If the course involves skills, is the student able to perform well in skill application? There is also the question of whether the student is doing all the required work outside of class. Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career. Susan
