Thinking questions for next class
Sugggest each student think of a question for next class based on class information. Question will increase knowledge of learned information, thinking.
Thank you Priscilla. I often struggle with getting students to ask questions. I really like that idea. We lecture to students every other day with labs in-between. The question assignment can occur the evening before labs. That can certainly assure that they take notes during lecture and perhaps read and prepare before lab the next day.

This sounds like a great idea. I'm going to try this tonight. Hopefully I'll be able to get my students to draw and reflect on today's lesson and think about the next day's lessons after they leave class.
I think this is a great idea to ask students to think up questions for the next class and this can they get the discussions going for the next day. It can also allow the students to ask any questions they may have without feeling embarrased about it.
