How do you handle a student who monopolizes the class with questions and answers?

Just whatever you do, don't give a made up answer... the students will google a possibly correct answer if they have the slightest hint of suspicion
Hi LeTisha, If the questions are on topic, I would answer them. If not I would "park" the question on the whiteboard and get back to it after class. I would also say "John - let's give someone else a chance to answer this question."

Ask the student to do some research on answers to questions that they have.
