I add questions into my power points as well. I feel that this gives the students a slight break and facilitates an short open forum for discussion. It provides me with an opportunity to see if they are grasping the information that I am presenting.

I incoorporate questions into the powerpoint that the students have to answer in order to move on through the lecture material. Once everyone understands the answers thoroughly even after sometimes a lengthly discussion we move on.
