Learning from start to finish
Students should be able to assess what they learned throughout the course, on a daily/weekly basis, and at the completion of the course.
Very True. Its a good indication of how well the subject matter is being taught as well as applied.
David, that is good advice. When I first had students assess, something I considered superflous at the time, I realize what a good process this is not only for the student, but for us as well. I learned what the students thought about their own discoveries, the class, the instructor, etc.
