Testing
I provide a variety of testing methods based on the material. Some material requires more of an analytical approach to finding the answer and some are more of a general knowledge retention type tests.
Using a variety of grading methods will offer students who do poorly in certain areas a chance to improve their grades in others.
In our system, exam grades account for about 30 percent of a students final class grade. Projects, labs, assignments, and participation are all factors.
