I really like the having the students write down the questions they did not understands.Some students feel funny asking a question(orally).
Me too Paul!! I have the students write them down and put them in a hard hat that we pass around the class. Not only are we answering some questions that some students ma de afraid of asking in class but sometimes we get some comedians in the class with some pretty funny questions which gets a good laugh from the class. It's all good.
I think it is also a way to have a one-on-one with each student. Some may need that.
The minute paper is a wonderful tool because it eliminates awkwardness for some students.
Really like this concept. I can't wait to try it iteravely in the classroom.
