test variaties
I prefere to have more than one type of test to hand out
on the based of experience from field trip and guest speakers
i change every quiz and final so that there is no cheating taking place
I use most of the tests discribed in this section but have definatly recieved some great information for building them better.
Me too. We usually do a written test mostly containing Completion and short answer problems with a little bit of multiple choice. I would like more essay questions, but I feel they would only focus on isolated course content and ignore too much other stuff. I'm going to think of a way to work it in. Perhaps a take home assignment that deals more with opinion or perspective instead of fact.
We also have a practical performance evaluation.
