Essay Test
I enjoy essay test because the test introduce students to the importance of writing outside of the english classrooms.
I agree that an essay test allows students to utilize their analytical and critical thinking skills and permits the student to demonstrate their knowledge of the subject matter in their own expressive form. This method also allows the student to elaborate further on the subject matter and is a good indicator of their level of understanding.
Essay test gives the student the chance to use their critical thinking abilities. In my experience, most students would not like it at first but once they start writing their ideas, they feel good about it and feel proud of the ideas they expressed.
I agree because it gives the students an opportunity to really explain their answer, so we get a better idea of what made them answer the question that way.
