Design

Now comes the time where it is up to the instructor to develop a correct grading criteria to actually see progress in the students.

I agree with using a similar format. We are in the process of streamlining the quizzes and tests across different skills levels so that students can become comfortable with the delivery and focus more on content and remembering what they have learned.

I like to use the same format all quarter long. After the first two they get the idea and I see them doing better. They are better prepared.

I can see the progress each time they take a quiz. Every friday i can see if the students are progressing because of the quiz.
