testing
I found this sourse to be most informative and realize what comes easy to me as a clinical physician needs to be addressed in a totally different manner with certain students.
Hi Steve, I am happy that you this course useful! Best wishes for continued success in your teaching career.

This course really did give me a much better understanding of how to test. My biggest complaint has always been about testing. I have never felt that written tests measure the ability of a student to perform in his (eventual) job--some folks just don't test well. I realize now I can better measure what they know by using other test methods which are better suited to meeting our goal...an accurate idea of academic progress. Our goal here, I always thought, was to convey knowledge, not fail our students. Better testing may help me do that (I hope!).
This course gave me a better undersatnding of how to assess the learning of my students and manage my time better without compromising one or the other.
It's nice to see that how I had been constructing my tests ( 30% Multiple choice, 30% True /False 30% short answer, and 10% essay) took all of the "best "parts and worked to maximize all different forms of testsing and student knowledge base learning.
Hi Wright, I am glad that you found this course useful! Best wishes!
