Testing formats
Understanding the different types of testing formats and their applications has given me a broader view of how to test my students. I look forward to applying all types of tests in my next course. Thanks for the very useful insight.

I think every school should have a brief course on test taking for the students. there are a lot of students that have test anxiety or don't know how to take certain test. I took a class on different testing and how to excel in them and it has really helped me.
Also I can now look at test results to see what the student knows verses what they don't. That should help me address week points in the lecture for the next class. Which should help the next set of students learn more.
I use a combination of testing in my classes. I teach classes that require you to perform a task, and know the science behind why you would do things a certain way. I feel a combination of test questions as well as practical test works best for assessing my students.
