Different Types of Tests

I like to mix up the types of tests I give. It seems to benefit most students to really work with their strengths and weaknesses. However, we are able to work on those weaknesses and turn them into strengths and they seem to do much better on the next test.

I agree by mixing up your tests you are getting a more diversified knowledge of a student.

I like to mix up test types too. More open ended questions, in my opinion test their knowledge better than just a multiple choice question.

Being able to test students in different ways are helpful. It give us a little more insight on the student and how they are learning the information we are presenting.
