Mission Statements
The mission statements are excellent method of not only reminding what you need to do for that day or year, it allows what your focus should be. This applies to every aspect of life and if we only can spend time establishing mission statements to our lives, all of us will achieve greater things in life!
Mission Statements serves as foundation on which to build a series of programs/activities which can be modified to improve the delivery of education.
I agree with the development of a mission statement. It provides the 5 W’s of what you are planning to accomplish with your students. It also provides the student with a template of what they will be expecting from you.
I agree - this has worked beautifully especially in my marketing class where the class builds a brand and the mission statement is the first strategy.
