I have found that I continuously learn from my students. Everyone has a different experience in life and we are exposed to different bits of knowledge at different times. I may have a broader base of knowledge than my students, but someone may have an experience to share that I have yet to experience myself. The philosophy I have carried throughout my teaching career is... "To be an effective teacher, you have to be a lifelong learner"...
