Music
I'm not sure my class will like this.
I wonder if I should wait until next quarter or start it mid-term?
Greetings Christina!
Absolutely! I like to keep students guessing what fun, interesting and exciting thing is going to happen next.
Good job!

Sometimes it's nice to introduce something different...keeps the students on their toes.
I wish we could play music because I feel it would work but unfortuanelty it's not allowed
try it now so that you have alternitives for next quarter.
Hi Wendy!
Please take a look at the following. A very good article about learning and music. Reenforces your comments.

This works very well as the music activates the brains ability to connect information in a more intricate way. It helps you focus and stay on track as well. Calmness is key too for detailed thinking to happen clearly.
I also play music during a computer lab exerise the students do like the music. I play some beach and relaxing music.
Hi Amy!
I really like to have "peaceful" on when students enter the classroom. It gives them a moment to relax and collect themselves. It's like students get refocused and puts them in a better place for learning.
Keep up the good work!

I found playing classical music in the classroom really calmed many of the students and I had many comments on doing this.
