surroundings

The surrounding in the classroom should be colorful and exciting to keep the students attention and involved.

Surroundings in the classroom can engage the students and work as motivation. I think that windows which can be opened to provide both natural light and offer a stimulating view can offer stimulation while in the classroom.

Thank You,
Byron

I can very much relate to the significance of peripheral learning using visuals on the walls with materials related to the course or clinical objectives. Not only have I enjoyed seeing my own creative ideas; but those too have helped me remember the high points of what I previously taught.

We have lots of pictures and posters of the topics being taught as well as positive statements down the hall.

I fully endorse that statement, as instructors it is our responsibilitly to stimulate our students enviornment for learning.

Hi Leslie!

Yes, when an instructor is comfortable with the surroundings, they are more excited about the classroom experience, therefore, students will be excited as well.

Keep up the good work!

I agree, I am most comfortable in my own room, so my students also feel comfortable. I can decorate and arrange seating that is advantageous to a better learning experience.

I agree, teaching in the same room allows me access to instructional materials (i.e. books, illustration charts, etc) and gives a sense of balance to the students.

Surrounding that stimulate learning and not distract students attention would be best. Right color that will give the student some peace and is conducive to their learning

I also found that the teachers who have their "own" room have the advantage of decorating it to their student's needs. So I've create portable information I can easily move from room to room.
