Music

Music is hands down one of the most easily accessable and deliverable tools to use to adapt students to an environment which might be intimidating for them. It helps them to relax and relate.

I like to use music not only to help student development but also for anticipatory sets. It gets them amped up and ready for the day.

I have never used music in my classroom but I think it would be a great idea to try!

I like to work with lite music playing in the background. It helps me focus on what I'm doing. There are others at work who use music for the same purpose. Some wear headphones, some don't. The important thing is to find the right type of music so you're not distracted from working or concentrating.

I've taught with and without music in the classroom. Sometimes it relaxes the students. Sometimes it relaxes them too much. We have to maintain a learning environment.

A SOOTHING MUSIC WHEN STUDENTS AREDOING CARE PLAN HELPS RELAXATION BUT THINK BETTER.

In the environment I work in I do not play music for safety reasons.I need to hear my machines running safely. I also believe it could be helpful,if it is the right music at the right level. I also think music in a work place can be motivational, sometimes in a classroom it can be distracting. If the instructor knows his material and knows how to present it,that should keep the students attention.

I agree with music in the classroom for in classroom assignments or during the beginning and end of class; however, during a lecture, I think would be incredibly distracting for learning.

I tried music a few times. I always had at least one student who would complain.

I like that we can have music in the class room
