what would be the ideal setup for a larger class where every student learns?

One techniqe I use is have the students sit in the same groups they have in lab,then dureing presentations I have the groups research the type of information related to the addministrative side of the lab work,by doing this the student is better prepared for lab,has more time to practice the hands on portion of thier training,as well as prepare for class tests.

If the classroom allows I like to break the class into managable sizes and have my assistant instructors monitor a group. I'll give part of the lecture than have the asstance instructors review the material and facilate discussion.

Divide the students into groups to work with their team for the duration of the class.
Ok now this is a tough one! What about all the students in the class face the front of the classroom!
