yes, I think music can be used effectively in the appropriate way & with the appropriate lesson, like the one you referenced.

I have never thought about using music before either. In fact, I wish that I had read this lesson yesterday. I think music would have been the perfect backdrop for the group assignment that I gave on the physiology and pathophysiology of the respiratory system.

yes, I think it all depends on the type of course being taught & what we are trying to accomplish in that particular lesson, whether music is appropriate or not.
