The idea of playing music as the students are arriving or leaving sounds like a great idea I would like to try. We have used music during a class in the past as well. Interestingly the tempo of the Bee-Gees 'Staying Alive' has the exact tempo needed to make sure that students can practice chest compressions at just the right pace for them to be effective when learning CPR!Not only is it incredible how perfect the tempo is in assisting the students practice but that chorus does a great job of keeping the students focused on why they are taking the class to begin with!
