I've never used games to improve learning objectives and materials.
This is a first, I've certainly heard of other instructors using it.

I think I'm going to experiment with it.

I think the use of games engages the student and it makes the class interesting. The student learns a different form of learning and learns to express oneself during play.

the use of games can be very effective. Remember two important things: 1) make sure the game content is well connected to the course content. 2) if necessary make sure there is a powerful, engaging debrief at the conclusion of the game/activity.
