retention
try to keep the class in tune with the subject matter and keep it a pleasurable envirement, so keep it in a manner that will keep them at ease. i feel this very important as far as retention. they will want to be involved.
Hi Brian!
In other words - instructors should energize students helping them to stay interested in the discussions. I always liked an instructor that had a little mystery about them so I didn't know what to expect. It kept me on my toes and the class very interesting and stimulating. It helped with retention and memory.
Good job!

Keeping the energy in the class at a level that is appreciated by both the instructor and student, will stimulate retention because everybody will be actively engaged.
Even though this may be hard at times it's one of the best tools to use, and that is keep them involved.
i feel that the more fun thier haveing the more retention the will have. of what has been going on in the class, but at the same time it cant get out of control because it well go from have a good time and lernig to just haveing lots of fun and not in the text that you are trying to give them.
I find keeping focus on all of the students and not just the ones who ask frequent questions helps greatly with keeping retention up. When a student feels left out there is a greater risk of the student dropping out.
