other considerations

I feel it is genuinely important to ask students for feedbacks so, it gives the instructor a chance to hear directly from students on how they feel about the course. Therefore, it gives us an opportunity to adjust or change anything that may improve the students’ learning experience

I do like to receive feedback based upon a set of criteria that is pertinent to the coarse, the material, and the delivery of the course. I have found what one class might want is not necessarily what another class will want. Same thing can be said about one student's desires over another. We cannot please everyone, but overtime, if we look at the data and find where there are common themes, then we have a chance to improve the overall course.

I couldn't agree more. It is their class. What better way to instruct than to blend learning styles.

I agree, talking to your students and asking throughout a lecture, does that make since to you, or can i explain it another way. Is a important feedback tool for the instructor, for the next time the lecture is given.

Yes, and even when it isn't possible to make changes students desire it shows that instructors genuinely care about them and their experience. To never ask for feedback can make students feel as if their education isn't important to the instructor--that the instructor is just "going through the motions" in "doing a job." Of course, when student desires can't be met it is important to explain why. Otherwise, it can seem as if the instructor asked for feedback but didn't really want it.
